St. Mary’s Lacrosse 2021 V A R S I T Y B O Y S S E N I O R S

18 Riley Evans - Goalie Riley transferred to St. Mary’s his junior year. He has been on the Varsity lacrosse team for two years. Riley plays club Lacrosse for True National 2021 team. Riley serves as an Activity Director at Gull Creek Senior Living Center and he also volunteers for The Light House Shelter and the Kellie Shiley Thompson 5K Fundraiser. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and surfing. Riley is committed to play lacrosse at Monmouth University where he also earned an Incentive Scholarship Grant.

One of the toughest players to ever wear a Saints jersey, Riley has battled for playing time since the moment he stepped on campus as a Junior transfer in 2020. The Monmouth commit uses his athleticism in and out of the cage to make a positive impact on the defense day in and day out. - St. Mary’s Lacrosse

21 Nick Kaufman - Defense Nick is an Honor Roll student with a 3.8 GPA. He is also a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and serves as COSA Homeroom Representative. Nick is a St. Mary’s Varsity lacrosse Captain. He played on the JV lacrosse team for two years then on Varsity for two years. He was named Captain of the JV team as well as Team MVP his sophomore year. He plays for the Annapolis Hawks Club Lacrosse team. Nick’s lacrosse accolades include the Washington DC Under Armour Lacrosse Highlight team, the APEX 60 MVP as well as NXT All-Star.

In addition to lacrosse, Nick played football for three years and was a member of the 2018 MIAA-B Championship football team. Nick ran for St. Mary’s Indoor Track his sophomore year, and he currently holds the school record time for the 800m. He is a member of the SAIL(Student Athletes in Leadership) Club and Champs Club. He has volunteered for the AFAC Soup Kitchen, the Light House Shelter, the Kelly Thompson Shiley 5K Fundraiser and the Special Olympics.

Nick is committed to play lacrosse for Johns Hopkins University.

Nick is a team captain and three-year varsity player who has worked incredibly hard to develop into one of the better defensive players in the MIAA conference. Nick’s physical abilities along with his work ethic earned him a scholarship to Johns Hopkins University, where he will continue his academic and athletic career with the Blue Jays. - St. Mary’s Lacrosse
