Girls Lacrosse Coaches
As I enter my fifth season as St. Mary’s Varsity Head Coach, I amexcited to continue building a program that has a legacy for success in the IAAM conference especially after losing out on our 2020 season. As a former student-athlete of St. Mary’s and having won an IAAMChampionship in 2005, we still have the same goal inmind of having a very successful season and to be competing in the Championship game inMay. After a successful career at St. Mary’s, I went on to continuemy lacrosse career as a defender for the University of Maryland. In 2009, I was part of the ACC championship team. All throughmy playing career I have been fortunate to be part of championship cultured programs and I expect to continue that success at St. Mary’s. Duringmy time at St. Mary’s, I have coached 41 girls who have gone on to play at the Division I, II and III levels, including a record high of 14 collegiate players in the 2020 class. I look forward to the 2021 teamwhile coaching with one of the best coaching staffs in the area. Coach Gary Jones enters his third season as aVarsity assistant coach.
