“Early Career Researcher Publishing Workshop” Getting your research published, read and cited— tips for success. “Achieving Clinical Health Results in a Community Setting” incentaHEALTH’s technology and programming is producing meaningful health outcomes in the community through its innovative, measurable and outcomes-based platform. “Cancer Control P.L.A.N.E.T.—Plan, Link, Act, Network with Evidence-based Tools” The workshop will demonstrate a web portal that provides evidence-based resources to inform the development of effective cancer control programs. CDC “CDC’s Emergency Response to Zika: A Presentation and Meet the Expert Session” During its 70-year history, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been activated to a Level 1 four times—for Ebola, H1N1, Hurricane Katrina, and, now, for Zika. During this session, Dr. Wanda Barfield, Director of CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health and a member of the CDC Zika Virus Response Team’s Pregnancy and Birth Defects Task Force, will share the latest information about Zika and discuss the vital role that partnerships play in public health emergency responses.
