Name: Yangyang Geng Title: Policy Fellow Time at APHSA: 2 months

What I Can Do For Our Members: I would like to provide new information and help the policy team prepare analyses of new legislation. I hope my experience and background can provide APHSA with different perspec- tives and help the Association realize new possibilities and solutions for existing issues. Best WayTo Reach Me: By email at PolicyFellow_2@aphsa.org. When Not Working: I like to spend quality time with my family. I enjoy cooking and gardening with my parents. On the weekend, I explore the city with my boyfriend and go to church. I am very active and I love running. MottoTo Live By: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future.” —Jeremiah 29:11

Life Before APHSA: I am currently a rising third- year student at the George Washington University Law School. Before working for APHSA, I was a two-time family court judicial intern for Judge Noel Johnson of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia last summer. During the first semester of my second year in law school, I worked at the self-help center of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Priorities At APHSA: My priority at APHSA is to assist in delivering accurate, on-point policy analysis, which I hope will be of value to the members and their work.
