oday’s human services agencies operate at the intersection of policy intent and everyday reality. They must translate complex rules into

real‑world decisions that safeguard public funds while delivering timely, accurate benefits to the individuals and families who depend on them. As federal and state expectations evolve, the focus is shifting beyond outcomes alone to how decisions are made and how accuracy is built into the process from the start. Doing so requires rethinking how accuracy is achieved, staff is supported, and technology is applied, not as a replacement for people, but as a force multiplier. Proactive, human‑centered accuracy is emerging as one of the most promising models for meeting this moment.
