INTERESTING ST. MARY’S LACROSSE VARSITY COACHING STAFF FACTS

• Head Coach Victor Lilly is a member of the St Mary’s Hall of Fame and a Distinguished Alumni award winner. Before taking over as head coach he had been a member of the coaching staff at St. Mary’s since 2003 which includes 13 MIAA playoff games, 4 MIAA Semi-Final appearances and 2 MIAA Championship. The 11 playoff appearances are more than both of the other two county MIAA Conference schools combined.

• Coach Victor Lilly was named the 2019 State of MD Private School Coach of the Year by the MSLCA.

• Coach Will Dalton was named the 2019 MIAA Assistant Coach of the Year by US Lacrosse.

• Coach Jim Moorhead won a NCAA National Championship, an MSA Championship and a MIAA Championship and is a member of the Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches Hall of Fame, the Anne Arundel County Sports Hall of Fame and the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame

• Coach Brian Burlace is one of only two Anne Arundel County players to win The William C. Schmeisser Award given annually to the NCAA’s most outstanding defenseman in men’s college lacrosse.
