Tom DeMaio – Head Varsity Coach As I enter my first season as the St. Mary’s Varsity Head Coach, I am very excited to be a part of the St Mary’s community. I look forward to instituting a winning culture at this great academic institution, which has a legacy for success in the IAAM conference. I bring extensive girls and boys lacrosse coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and club level to our athletes. I started my coaching career on the men’s side in New England with Northeastern University (MCLA) and have since coached both boys and girls Varsity lacrosse for over 20 years. As we look ahead to this season, there is a great deal of enthusiasm among the coaching staff and the players. These student athletes have been working extremely hard and have embraced the vision of the St. Mary’s program. We are excited to put a product on the field that can compete with the iron of the best conference in the nation. The foundation of our program is developing our players on and off the field. We want our athletes to get better every day and to recognize their potential. We believe that the best part of our athletes’ day should be when they show up to lacrosse practice. Our staff will do everything in our power to contribute to that goal, and to ensure that the St. Mary’s high school lacrosse experience is the absolute best it can be. We are excited to build on the great Saints tradition of lacrosse this Spring! I am thrilled to introduce a new Varsity staff for the 2023-24 season: Christina Lilly – Defensive Assistant Coach Christina graduated from Fallston High School where she excelled in Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She went on to Gettysburg College where Christina served as captain for both during her senior year. During her time at Gettysburg, she won three Conference
