Accessibility Services CCC, Lobby A
In an effort to make the Annual Meeting and Expo accessible to the widest range of people possible, an accessibility desk will be staffed on site in the registration area at the CCC to manage any requests or questions pertaining to issues of access. Questions and comments can be emailed to access@apha.org. Accessibility Transportation Wheelchair Accessible van transportation can be scheduled upon request between official APHA hotels and the CCC for attendees with disabilities. Visit or call the ADA Van Desk or the APHA Accessibility booth both located in Lobby A to make arrangements in advance. Please provide the shuttle company with advance notice as to when and where you will need a pick up. Registrants with mobility issues who are unable to utilize the on call accessible transportation option, may utilize cab service to and from official APHA hotels and the CCC. APHA will reimburse taxi fares between official APHA Annual Meeting properties. Submit all receipts to APHA (c/o Conventions Dept., 800 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001) no later than November 30, 2016.
For more information on these awards and the honorees, visit www.apha.org
Activity Posting Center CCC, Atrium
The Activity Posting Center is where registrants are invited to post flyers or advertise meetings and special events. Flyers and handouts may not be posted on any hotel or convention center walls as APHA will be fined and will be responsible for clean-up costs. For crowd control, safety and consideration of all attendees, it is requested that no flyers or handouts be distributed directly outside of meeting rooms or exhibit halls.
CE Evaluation Center CCC, Lobby A
Computers are available in Lobby A of the CCC during registration hours to complete CE evaluations for CME, CNE, CPH, CHES and MCHES credits. Evaluations can be completed in the mobile app and also following the meeting. Access will be available until December 16, 2016. A link will be available at www.apha.org.
