50 YEARS – A SPECIAL CELEBRATION This year we are extremely proud to celebrate the 50 th anniversary of two of our affinity groups – IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) and the American Association of Health and Human Services Attorneys (AAHHSA). Over the years, these two groups have contributed significantly to the advancement of health and human services delivery and our shared goal of building thriving communities in which all children and families can reach their full potential. It is fitting that ISM and AAHHSA share a common anniversary as both groups touch nearly every aspect of health and human services. Ø Ø The 2017 ISM Annual Conference is the largest

modern, responsive health and human services system that leads to stronger, healthier families and communities. H/HS leaders have an opportunity to meet with our federal partners in one-on-one meetings to discuss the implication of potential new rules, regulations and policies on the delivery of human services. Ø Ø The 2017 AAHHSA Annual Training and Education Conference continued to set the standard for excellence in the discussion and dissemination of smart, effective legal ideas that positively affect the H/HS community. Legal experts from across the country provided a multitude of learning opportunities that attendees could immediately implement within their agencies.
